Redness/ Sensitivity

Some of you might be experiencing sensitive skin for as long as you can remember, while some of you experience sensitive skin due to certain triggers such as chemical treatments, medications, and allergic foods. Signs of sensitivity include redness, itchiness, burning, and irritation, which can appear all over the face or be localized to a particular area. Unwanted redness can be the result of certain allergies (contact dermatitis), or skin conditions, like rosacea and acne. It’s important to avoid irritants in your skin care and makeup if you have sensitive skin. Common irritants include parabens, sulfates, alcohol, and artificial fragrances. Essential oils rich in Chamomile, Aloe, Calendula are skin-soothers and redness-reducers to be included in your skin care. The Piuinouïbelle is committed in making sure that none of those irritants (parabens, sulfates, alcohol, soap) are included in every item. Do note that environmental factors, such as hot water, wind, sun, and extreme cold play a big role too. Individual trigger differs so simply being aware of them will go a long way to minimizing flare-ups.

Redness and allergies do not have to rule your life. Remain patient and consistent, avoiding the obvious chemicals and irritants. Remember that having a sensitive skin does not mean you will not age. Anti-aging skin care has to be applied daily to achieve that youthful glow!
